What is Kefir?
Kefir is a fermented drink made from milk. It is usually fermented from cow's or goat's milk with the help of a milk kefir grain or kefir mushroom. This creates a delicious probiotic alternative to yogurt. The fermentation of kefir usually takes no longer than 24 hours. After fermentation, the kefir grains are removed and reused as desired.

What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented refreshing tea drink. With the help of a kombucha culture, various sweetened teas, e.g. green tea or black tea, are fermented. The kombucha mushroom or Scoby is a community of various microorganisms, bacteria and yeasts that metabolize tea and sugar into a delicious drink during fermentation. Depending on the culture and manufacturing process, different fermentation products are created, which characterize the taste and composition of the kombucha.
